Like most authors, I have a deep love affair with words. I’ve always been curious about interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships so I began reading novels. As a teen my favorite hobby was shopping trips to the bookstore to pick up the latest works by Kimberla Lawson Roby, Kayla Perrin and Mary Monroe. I craved the feeling of being thrust into a new literary world, following the lives of young women through their journeys of love, motherhood and professional achievements.
Over the years, I discovered reading wasn’t enough. I wanted to create exciting worlds of my own with my own characters. Using my expert eavesdropper and useless facts collector skills, I started writing and I haven’t been able to stop.
